Operations Manager – Hillbrow

Property Management company based in Hillbrow is looking for a strong, highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager with 20 years experience at a senior level.
Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager and overseeing 4 Maintenance Managers and their teams as well as administrative staff, the succeccful incumbent will head up the entire maintenance department, vet contractors, obtain pricing, value engineering, get quotes, deal with suppliers, follow up on open jobs and invoices, prevent stock and financial losses


Must have a proven track record, managed at least 20 staff and worked for Blue Chip company. Tertiary education highly advantageous, pref with a Project Management or Facilities Management degree or diploma.

My client is looking for a serious operator who is dynamic, uses his/her initiative and has excellent problem solving and communication skills. No job hoppers and no clock watchers. Must be highly focused, passionate and driven. Strong experience is key.
