Paul Pogba is better than Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah has been crowned PFA Player of the Year after an impressive season at Liverpool, while the Egyptian also won the Premier League’s Golden Boot with his record-breaking 32-goal campaign. But Manchester United Players believes Pogba should still be considered the division’s best player. ‘For us, Paul Pogba is the best player in the league,’ the United players said.

Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba has named the two trophies he would like to win in his career, and also commented on his Ballon d’Or ambitions. The Frenchman, who has lifted the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League trophy since joining the Red Devils, has insisted he is not as focused on individual accolades as many may think

The 25-year-old, who some consider to be a future Ballon d’Or winner, has revealed that he would like to win the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Champions League in his career.

“I want to win a World Cup and the Champions League, and to be the best,” Pogba told Canal+. “The Ballon d’Or is more a dream than an objective. “You can be a happy guy and win the Ballon d’Or, Ronaldinho is an example for that.”

Mo Salah could yet write one final crowning chapter in what has been a phenomenal season for Liverpool’s Egyptian international. His goal against Brighton on Sunday, the first in Liverpool’s 4-0 victory which secured Champions League football for next season, saw Salah take his Premier League tally to 32, breaking Alan Shearer’s record for a 38-game season.

It also ensured Salah claimed the Premier League golden boot, finishing two goals clear of Tottenham’s Harry Kane, winner of the award in the previous two seasons, to add a sixth major individual honor to an already overflowing mantlepiece.
